Veerracerss the official entry of our university for the event Supra Saeindia 2015 has come out with flying colors in the Virtual Simulation Round of the event. The event is basically based on designing and fabricating a formula type race car which will be competing with other teams of different universities and colleges of the country including top NITS and IITS. The team has successfully cleared the virtual design round held at Vel-Tech University Chennai to take part in the main endurance event to be held in Madras Motors Racing Track in Chennai during july 2015.The team is a feature cap of VSSUT SAE COLLEGIATE CLUB which was established in the year 2010 by some of the automobile enthusiasts of the university. The team consists of 25 members captained by Santosh Mishra from third year mechanical engineering.As the captain says the team is geared up to fabricate its second vehicle VENTUS 15.2 which will be more efficient and will definitely get a podium finish this year.
