The Central Garden beguilingly blends beautiful flowers, mushy lawn grass, a winsome fountain and an Eiffel tower replica to create an alluring ambiance for the four Halls of Residence, namely- Vasistha, Atri, Marichi and Kratu, that encompass it.
The morning wind carries the aroma of the scented flowers through the open windows as the students prep up for their classes. It attracts a wide variety of bickering birds who swoop down to quench their thirst. However it is the busiest during the warm summer evenings. Coyly lit by night lamps it silently lends an ear to the boys as they squat on the benches and gossip amongst themselves. The fountain became fully functional recently and it has added yet another feather to the garden’s beauty.
It was setup as a getaway for the students- a soothing refuge in the arms of nature after an exhausting day at college, and it continues to serve its purpose splendidly.
